I found this site - http://www.militaryschooloptions.com/ and it has given me so much information about other options. Of course I still prefer the best for my kids, but just so in case that they can’t make it there, at least I have a back up plan. We are not really a military family, or have relatives in the military. As a family, we see the discipline and values that the military provides for the kids. Our fixation over military education, started when my eldest son was sent to a military boot camp. We have seen real behavior improvements. He also managed to tell his sisters stories about the different activities. Then the next thing we know, everybody is excited and looking forward to be in military school.
Great military school info

October 25, 2007 by camouflagemomCollege is becoming more expensive these days. If you have a middle class family like mine, it’s even more hard to send your seniors to get their ticket to excellent careers. I have always wanted to send my kids to military academies like West Point or Citadel. They also want to go too, especially my daughter. Our only problem is the tuition and other costs. However, a lot of my friends told me that such schools are offering scholarships. I did a little research about these schools. I found out that all I have to do is to make sure my teenagers are performing well in high school, and they should also pass all the requirements. But the twist… your kids have to be nominated by a member of the Department of the Army or anybody from the congress. It’s a tough competition out there, but our family is still keeping our high hopes for our kids. For more information about military school admissions, you can visit http://www.military-net.com/
